How It All Began: The Ultimate Pub Crawl Meet-Cute

Picture this: Rudy’s Pub & Grill on the Newport Peninsula, six years ago. Cue the nostalgic music because that’s where Kristen and Bobby’s story kicked off. Bobby, being the spontaneous adventurer he is, ditched his buddies to join Kristen and her crew on a bar crawl. No plans, just good vibes and a night of unplanned fun. Classic meet-cute material, right?

Fast forward through some crickets (Bobby was off globe-trotting, after all). Then comes Halloween and the ever smooth Bobby slid into Kristen’s DMs. Despite Kristen being busy, their first date was set up in just a week. And from there? Well, the rest is basically love story magic!

A Day to Remember at Huntington Bay Club

Fast forward to the big day, and we’re at the stunning Huntington Bay Club in Huntington Beach. Think picturesque harbor views, dreamy blue decor, and a wedding that felt like it was straight out of a fairytale. Kristen and Bobby finally said “I do” with a backdrop that was as gorgeous as their love story.

Pure Lavish Events absolutely nailed the planning—seriously, these folks are wedding wizards! And don’t even get me started on Jenny B Floral Design. Their bouquets were so beautiful, I almost tried to sneak one into my car. Almost.

The Highlights: Sunset Photos and Dance Moves to Remember

Let’s get to the good stuff. Kristen walking down the aisle? Total tearjerker. And the reception? It was a straight-up party! My top two highlights? Sneaking away for some sunset photos on the private beach (because magic happens at golden hour) and Bobby’s dance moves later in the evening. Let’s just say he danced like no one was watching, and it was absolutely legendary.
