CORONA DEL MAR BEACH ENGAGEMENT | Sharon + Gabriel

Sharon and Gabriel’s engagement session at Corona del Mar was all about the simple beauty of the beach. We played along the shoreline, took photos by the lifeguard stand, and soaked in the pastel colors of a soft California sunset.

And can we talk about Sharon’s hair for a second? Her long, gorgeous hair caught the light perfectly—it added so much life and flow to their photos. Instead of stiff poses, I guided them with fun prompts, and they were totally up for it. The result was genuine laughter, sweet moments, and photos that feel like them.

The mix of sandy beach, ocean waves, and that golden light gave their photos a natural, timeless feel. They laughed, walked barefoot in the sand, and leaned into the easy joy of just being together. By the time the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky gave us the most romantic backdrop for their final portraits.

Corona del Mar is one of my favorite spots in Orange County for engagement photos—it’s relaxed, scenic, and has that quintessential Southern California vibe. Whether you’re looking for playful, candid moments or classic portraits at sunset, this beach delivers every time.
